The frequency spectrum is considered a limited natural resource. Therefore the spectrum management is ruled by principles published in (ITU) Radio Regulations.
The utilisation of the frequency spectrum in the Slovak Republic is governed by the National Table of Frequency Allocations enacted by the Regulation of the Slovak Government pursuant to Section 30 Par. 3 of the Law on Electronic Communications no. 351/2011 Coll.
The National Table of the Frequency Allocations (NFTA) is the basic document on the frequency spectrum utilisation in the Slovak Republic. It covers frequencies from 8.3 kHz to 1 000 GHz.
